Refund & Cancellation Policy

At The Omniscient Path Inc., we view our coaching, training and workshop environments as sacred spaces for metamorphosis. To honour the dedicated allocation of time and energy, we operate under the following policies. These guidelines ensure mutual respect and comply with both the ICF Code of Ethics and the Ontario Consumer Protection Act.

1. THE COACHING PARTNERSHIP (1:1 COACHING SESSIONS)

Our coaching containers are built on commitment and presence. Per the ICF Code of Ethics, our partnership is based on honesty and clear boundaries. I am committed to ethical and fair practices and your complete satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied, please let me know within 24 hours of the session, training or workshop. Refunds for completed work are not standard, but I will review any concerns on a case by case basis with fairness and respect for both parties.

  • Cooling-Off Period (Ontario Law): For all coaching agreements signed in Ontario, you have a legal right to cancel the agreement without penalty within 10 days of receiving a written copy of the contract.

  • Scheduling & Cancellations: We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any session rescheduling or cancellation. If a session is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, the full session fee will be charged (or one session will be deducted from your prepaid package).

  • Refunds for Completed Work: Completed coaching sessions are non-refundable. The value of our work lies in the exchange of energy and unearthing that occurs during our time together.

  • Termination of Prepaid Packages: If you choose to discontinue a multi-session package, you may request a refund for any unused sessions. Refunds will be calculated using the package discount rate for any unused sessions and will be billed with a 10% administrative per session processing fee applied to the remaining balance.

  • The Omniscient Path Inc. refund to be processed via PayPal or E-transfer per client agreement back to the client within 14 calendar days of cancellation notice.

2. WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING

Our group workshops and training rely on a specific group dynamic and shared energy.

  • Cancellations: Workshop and/or training registrations are fully refundable (minus a $50 administrative fee) up to 14 days prior to the event. Within 14 days prior to the event, registrations are non-refundable but are fully transferable to another person or another agreed to event by The Omniscient Path Inc.

  • Cancellations by The Omniscient Path Inc.: If we must cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued. Any Omniscient Path refunds provided are to be processed via PayPal or E-transfer per client agreement back to the client within 14 calendar days of cancellation notice.

3. ETHICAL BOUNDARIES & PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

In alignment with the ICF Code of Ethics, the following standards apply:

  • Confidentiality: All sessions are strictly confidential, subject to legal requirements in the Province of Ontario (e.g., risk of harm to self or others).

  • Nature of Service: Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or crisis intervention. If it is determined that your needs are better served by a different mental health professional, we will discuss a transition plan and provide a pro-rated refund for any unused coaching sessions.

  • Dispute Resolution: We strive for radical honesty. Should a disagreement arise, we commit to a good-faith "quiet conversation" to resolve the matter in accordance with the laws of Ontario.

4. LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION

  • Disclaimer of Results: While we assist you in becoming the architect of your own evolution, The Omniscient Path Inc. makes no guarantees regarding specific career or financial outcomes.

  • Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the service in question.

5. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws ofCanada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be settled through a "quiet conversation" and good-faith mediation before pursuing legal action in the courts of Ontario.

6. UPDATED TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our practice or legal requirements. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

7. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES

We understand that the "messy middle" of life can bring true emergencies. In cases of sudden illness or unavoidable crisis, we invite you to reach out. We handle these rare instances with the same grounded presence and empathy that defines our partnership.
